...So the children are on summer holidays and it is rainy outside. You have a busy day working from your office at home. What does one to to keep them entertained? Is this the time to teach them some necessary life skills e.g. help them catalogue their books/games/dvds? Then after lunch go to the library to register for borrowing? It sounds old fashioned but it encourages them to take responsibility for their own property as well as other people's property! It gives you an opportunity to share an activity with them and show them you love and care for them.
